Ruby on Rails Oceania

In conjunction with Australian Web Week we have an evening planned around introductory topics of Ruby and Rails.

Tuesday October 12, at the Trinity Bar – 505 Crown St, Surry Hills, NSW 2010 (upstairs) 6:30 for a 7pm start!

• Ryan Bigg (@ryanbigg) will give an introduction to Ruby the language.
• Mikel Lindsaar (@raasdnil) will give an introduction to Rails3, what is new, and what has changed.
• Open Panel: Ryan Bigg (@ryanbigg), Mikel Lindsaar (@raasdnil), and Gabe Hollombe (@gabehollombe) will sit on a panel to answer any questions you have about ruby, rails or even some of your coding problems/questions. Feel free to bring along your laptop and have your code looked at, optimised and discussed.
